Bill Parcells has announced that the Dolphins will listen to offers for their number one draft pick. That is usually not a big deal until a rumor is started, that a offer was made. Well their is a rumor going around that Jim Jones from the Dallas Cowboys, is willing to give up two draft picks and pro bowl running back Marion Barber, for the Dolphins number one pick. They would do this in hopes to pick up Darren McFadden, the great running back from Arkansas.
This would be a horrible idea in my opinion. I don’t know why the Cowboys would take a chance on an unproven rookie when they already have two very good running backs, in fact Barber is headed to the pro bowl this year, and he still has improving to do. This would definitely hurt them in the short and long term. If McFadded proves to be a great running back like Adrian Peterson did, on the Cowboys, good for them. On the other hand, if he proves not to be the answer, then they get what they deserve for being so dumb. If McFadded plays well on another team, the Cowboys would be even better with the draft choices they make, with a stellar running back duo.
